I’m Luisa Foliaki; sassylu and I am often known online as llmunchkin; Proud Mumma of MircoMe & MissyMe. I am a member of some great parenting websites; Essential Baby, Bub Hub, Huggies and Belly Belly. Some I joined when I was pregnant in 2005 and left, then recently rejoined. My main reason for using some of the sites less often, is the difficulty I have navigating around them and making posts. With so many wonderful parenting websites and forums online, you may ask; Sassy Parents, why would we need another?
While these sites are great to be a part ofI am always mindful of site administrators and moderators who regulate what I write with various rules and regulations. I have a business based on administration and resent being administrated in my leisure time. I think moderate is akin to being around medium, or even worse; average. Being regulated is ok if you want uniform regular points of view; I don’t want to be regular, nor a regular point of view. As the rules on other sites increased, I branched out into the world wide web with the following blogs:

A new seed was sown when I spoke to WSO coaches from ClickThruiQ, Eddy Croft and Josh Denning. They suggested that I create my own website and create my own niche for an area I feel isn’t currently being catered for. That area is for parents to have freedom of expression; tell it how it is, how it was and how it should be without threat of being ostracised or tossed off a website, (which has happened LOL). Sassy Parents has now been born and it is where you can let your fingertips run free and be allowed to say things like, “why wasn’t the mother of that child; who was abducted when she left him in the car, charged with negligence?” Without experiencing a ton of misguided sympathy for stupid behaviour instead of demands for sensible explanations.
I invite honest feedback and will only exclude obvious spam, explicit sexual language, overuse of profanity, unwarranted personal attacks or breach of copyright. Please complete the Sassy Parents Survey if you haven’t already; I will post the results over the next few weeks. Feel free to add topics or ideas that you would like to see on the site in the comments section below, or email me at sassyparents@bizsassy.com if you’d prefer. Thank you for visiting ‘my new baby.’
